Yeah, you! Go watch this video.

Go on. I'll wait.

Done? Good. THAT'S A FANVID! As in, not the official version for the song. As in, did in own free time for free.

I just can't understand these artistic peoples.

On a more personal note, I'm off my meds. What this means is that I can finally think again, goddamnit. And write, not that I'll be posting anything anytime soon. But still. I can think, and it's a wonderful thing.

Omg, Melody! You live!! Long time no hear! *pounces and hugs*

What were these meds that you were on?? I'm glad to hear that you're off them and doing better regardless! :)

Lexopro, divalproex, and something else that I think started with a C that my doctor took me off a little bit ago, and helped a tad. I'm sure I'll wake up at like 3am with the name, and then fall asleep and forget it again *rolls eyes*

Yes! I live! and exist and all those other fun things. I've been job hunting (again. still. it's a never ending process, I'm convinced of this). Running up against the same sort of hurdles of always. "Yes, you did this, and this, and this, but what have you done lately?" Well, I've been going to school, you fictional interviewing fuckwad who doesn't want to give me a chance. Bah.

So, guess what? I'm bipolar! Yay! Or something. So, the pills they put me are supposed to even me out, and I guess they did... into a sorta blah neutral state where I exist and sleep, and think I should do such and such but thought rarely turns into action do to lack of motivation. But with out them, oh my god. I mean, boo, moodswings and random bouts of temper and tears, but it's like my greyscale life has regained colour. There are ups and downs and inbetweens, and it's all so vibrant and welcome, even the lows.

I think about you! I scroll through my phone, and wonder if you would welcome my call, or if your busy, etc. But, especially on the meds, it's just so hard to fight through the apathy to reach the words that I want to say, even if it's just I miss you. And I do, I miss you and so many other people that I just couldn't keep in touch with. Like trying to move through molasses. Simply terrible.

I made a new community! I don't expect you to join, as I don't think it's for a show you watch. It's called [livejournal.com profile] maddow_discuss, for discussing the Rachel Maddow show in MSNBC that comes on in the evenings. It's been fun, talking with people across the country (or the pond, there are a few from the UK there) who are all watching the same show with me, and throwing in their own pithy comments.

I am on the twitter, with this same username, simplysly. It gets updated randomly, but, like this journal, I tend to mostly forget about it.

How's school treating you then? You're getting close to being done with it, aren't you?

Good luck with the job hunting. It took me quite a while to find my current job. I'm now a telemarketer for State Farm - whoo. lool. I'm sure you'll find something eventually, yeah?

I'm really sorry to hear about the meds, mate. *huggles tightly* That's not good about the bi-polar either, but at least you're looking on the positive side of things (which is more than I can say, heh). I was on lexopro for a while myself (for the fibromyalgia) but I'm off all of my meds now, too. They were only making me even more sick. So you know, if being off meds makes you feel better hon, then that's good.

I think about you a lot as well! It really is so good to hear from you. And it's such a nice feeling to know I was missed as well. :) We'll def. have to both work harder to keep in touch. I added you on Twitter (and I saw that you added me back, too). I'm not sure how much I'll be able to talk on the phone lately, as I've got school again too (and my job, bleh), but I'll definitely give you a ring some time as we have a lot to catch up on. ;)

I'd join your new comm, but I don't use LJ like I used to (sadly), and as you said, I don't watch the show, heh. But I'm glad that it's a good little comm for you and that you're meeting some cool folks. :)

You still into Greg and the boys, per chance? :-D

Please, the day I'm not into Greg and the boys, is the day that I need to go and commit myself to the psych ward. Infact, I just got into a conversation about QI and WL the other day with one of those people from across the pond. I forget what started it now, but we went off on a tangent for a good 8 or 9 posts.

School is grr, mostly because when I'm able to sign up for classes, the classes I need (instead of just want, which would still be annoying, but not quite so much) are all full. Speaking of which, I can't actually sign up for Fall Term until the 10th, and classes don't start until the 29th, so, yeah. Feel free to call when you get a minute or two to spare.

Yeah. I've taken to applying to fast food places. I get interviews with them. It seems to go well. "If you don't hear from us by Tuesday, give us a call!" I call, they're busy. I go in, leave my number, don't get a call back. A few weeks of this, I get the hint.

Well, the doctors say I'm bi-polar. I'm more of "what do you mean it's not normal for people to have all these ups and downs in one day? Isn't that just reacting to external stimuli?"

Yay! We can be off our meds and crazy together! Wheee! Although, I do wish you were able to be on something to help with fibromyalgia pain. I've heard of it from others, and wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy (well, maybe. In small amounts. As a learning tool.). Ew about them making you sick, though. If mine had done that, I definitely would have been off them before, but as it just made me blah, that was considered acceptable.

Twitter is a thing that I'm still not really sure of. Mostly because I actually have to check the damn thing to see if anyone has replied at me, and I can't be bothered to refresh every five seconds or so. Now, if they had an option where the reply (or even that you had one) was e-mailed to you, I would use it more often. Maybe. I'd definitely think of using it more often, how about that.

I use LJ mainly for watching comms, and commenting on the live blog things. That's about it, really, but that's what I've done for a long time now, so it's all good to my mind. Yeah, the comm is definitely more of a "yeah, I've been doing something with people instead of living in my own little world that's ok because they know me there", rather than a "WAH! Why won't my friends join my comm!" kind of thing. Really, it's just for one thing, and if you're not into it, it's cool (although you might like the show and Countdown which precedes it. Maybe).

I'm also playing neopets. Just because. It's amusing.

Oh! and I got a new laptop! See, the screen on the old one died. When I was trying to figure out why, I happened to take off most of the cover, so I could actually see if there was a loose connection or something. Yeah. Where the connectors from the screen to the computer board met? It started smoking on me. Very, very sad. Was without a laptop for over a month! Luckily, was able to use the desktop, but still. It was rather annoying.

How's your new computer coming? Is it behaving any better yet?
