You Are 44% Evil

You are evil, but you haven't yet mastered the dark side.

Fear not though - you are on your way to world domination.

....I feel dirty now.

Well, I'm apparently 66% evil and too evil to care, but I am also apparently in need of a technologically-advanced Evil Henchman because I can't figure out where to get the code to post my results. *headdesk*

And also: incorrectly thinking that "halcyon" means "blue" does not mean I have a mere 80% vocabulary! And the "my favorite foods " question did not offer the correct option, goddammit, and so cannot assume that my punctuation is also only 80% - blast it all to hell!

... ummm ... I'm done throwing a fit now. :)

So, after it tells you how evil you are, there's a link to "Get HTML and BBCode", (you'd have to go here and then click on the link there).

It occurs to me that I've seen halcyon in a lot of HP fanfiction. Used incorrectly, of course. I actually tend to associate it with tragedy... maybe because of the fanfiction, or maybe because the peace can never last, who knows. But, the second thing that comes to mind is the bird, not "peace or tranquility". Ah, well.

Thank you, Loyal Henchman. ;) It was underneath the line, so I incorrectly assumed it was a link that went along with the advertisement directly beneath it.

See, this is why I've not yet taken over the world. I'm constantly tripped up by technicalities and hero-sized air vents. :)

With me, it's more that taking over the world seems like work, and I'm a lazy bum. I mean, if you do it the quick, messy way, there's always having to watch your back least someone kill you in retaliation. But the slow, winning hearts and minds way takes forever, and I get distracted easily.

I like both: the quick, messy way is enjoyable for its brutality, finality, and physicality, but the winning-hearts way is deeply amusing for the mental satisfaction of lying completely and being utterly believed.

I really should shut up now before I reveal how much thought I've put in to the various methods of world domination. :)

Well, you can do both.... if you can convince people that just these few people HAD to die by your hand...

There's also sorta easy way that goes along with that. Gather up the people you want to keep (making sure that there's enough diversity in interests to keep things running later), and infect the rest with some sorta biological. Keeping the handy dandy antidote for you and yours, of course.

But again, too much effort. The games to such an effect are sorta interesting, though. There are two, I believe, having to do with viruses and how they move through a population. In one, you're fighting it, and in the other, you're the virus.

Hey, I'm going to be in Portland tomorrow. Want to meet up at Powell's or for coffee or something?

That could be interesting! I wouldn't be able to get there until six pm or so, though.

That sucks. :-(

I'm heading up there in the morning, and dropping my friends off at the airport around 1... I don't think hanging around until 6pm, and then later, would be really feasible to get me back home before too late.

I hope you had fun in town! I's love to have coffee if you ever do it on a weekend. Obviously you live nearby; how close are you to Portland?

Not terribly close. I live down in Cottage Grove, which relatively small, and the nearest big city is Eugene, about 20 miles away. From Eugene to Portland is something like a hundred miles. So, it's definitely an all (or, at least, most of a) day affair. But, at least it's not as bad as heading up to Seattle, which I've had to do before to visit family.

But, yeah. As long as I have a good excuse, like spending a few hours up there either with a friend, exploring the city and doing Christmas shopping, or both, it's not terribly prohibitive.

Every now and then I spend the weekend in Newport - perhaps the next time I do, we can have coffee in Albany. :)

Sounds like fun! Although, I'm even less familiar with Albany than I am Portland, so if you're more familiar, you're going to have to choose the spot!

And, before I forget again, all this talk of evil and Loyal Henchmen is making me think of the game Evil Genius. Which I should re-buy one of these days.
