A person just did the "And this is why this fandom is so sick and disgusting and why the actors/creators thing its such a crazy thing" in response to a kink meme.

I have to wonder about myself because my response is mostly "Lol. Fandom noob" than anything constructive.


I had about four hundred more words for this, but I really but I think Fandom Noob says at least most of what needs to be said.

It's actually a continuation of my previous post about the SPNKink_Meme. So, the original request is one a whole bunch of people were rather offended by, but that's not all that this nonnie was referring too. The Mods of that community had made the call that while they didn't like it either, the community IS a place for all kinks and does allow all prompts... but they would prefer it if the OP take a few extra minutes in the future to make sure that prompts contain no racial slurs or disrespects. There are people in the community who have trouble with this, of course, so a mod re-iterated that all prompts and kinks were welcome, which is when the nonnie I was talking about above got involved.


Their words, exactly:

"That's why this place is the worst thing that has ever happened to SPN fandom. This place is sick, you all need help. You get off doing all this and just say that is fiction but if you get turn on by a kid being raped the you have serious problems.
No wonder Jensen, Jared and the rest think fandom is insane.This is disgusting."



I called "Fandom Noob" because in no way is the SPN fandom the only place to find really dirty porn, or even underaged sex (especially as there are big fandoms devoted to characters who are underaged, or mostly underaged through out the canon, such as Harry Potter).

And personally, if Jensen and Jared do think that fandom is insane... it's most likely because of the stalkery and completely obsessed fans than a kink meme I don't think they even know exists. And, you know, the in general stories about them together, no matter what the rating.

Sorry, I promised myself I wasn't going be verbose on this *headdesk* That's probably more than you wanted or needed to know.
